Street Party 2025
About
The Oldfield Road Street Party is organised and attended by residents of Oldfield Road and the surrounding streets, including Sandbrook, Ayrsome, Painsthorpe, Barbauld, Harcombe and Kynaston Roads. It is enabled and sanctioned by our local authority.
We have a great family fun day lined up for everyone with some wonderful activities and more from midday!
Residents
Contribution
​We have a few small costs to cover for the event and ask all our residents, where they can, to contribute to make the day a success.
We suggest just £5 per adult, however feel free to contribute further, and all remaining proceeds will go to charity.

We are honoured to be joined by a local council dignitary to judge our cake competition!
Bring along your creation on the day to show the street and be in the chance for some wonderful prizes.

Have them ready to go for this most prestigious street award.

Food & Dining Area
Oldfield Road certainly has some culinary experts whipping up some home cooked dishes like Goat curry, Jerk chicken and more! Cook up, bring along a dish of your own or just hang out and enjoy what's on offer.
EVERYONE is invited to the seated DINING AREA in the centre of the street to sit, eat and mingle!
Heave ho, heave ho! Who will be the victors this year, the Odds or the Evens?

In 2023 & 2024 we raised over £600 each year! Please help use where you can with as much as you can!
Stokey Cats and Dogs charity has been selected in honour of our neighbour James from No. 63, who sadly passed away at the start of the year. His family has told us that he loved animals and would approve. We also fondly remember how much James, Margaret, and their family always enthusiastically participated in our community street parties, happily hosting the music tent in front of their home!
